SAN SALVADOR ATENCO
When mexican president Vincente Fox firmed the law in order to expropriate the land of the village of Atenco and others twelve communities, to build the new Mexico City's airport, the people, in majority farmers, rejected the proposals from the governant, sticked togheter and after one year long struggle forced the governament to cancel the law and mantein their land.
